Lessons for elementary age students

Finding a teacher for young students can be difficult. Many guitar teachers are reluctant to take on early learners because a full size guitar can often be too big to hold and the strings too difficult for young students to push down.

One of the programs we've began offering are lessons specifically geared towards elementary age students. We have developed lessons for the "guitalele" an instrument that is 1/4 the size of a normal guitar, about the size of a baritone ukulele. It has 6 nylon strings, and is tuned a fourth higher than a standard guitar. The short neck, small body, and similarity to a full size guitar make it the perfect instrument for an early learner.

This beginner pack from Amazon is an excellent value and we recommend it to all of our students that want to learn this instrument:

One of the nice things about this instrument is that as a student progresses and moves on to a full size guitar, the guitalele becomes an excellent travel instrument to take camping or on trips.

If there is a young person in your life that wants to learn to play guitar, but physically can't hold a full sized guitar, pick up one of these beginner packs and call Brent for lessons today!

Feel free to shoot us an e-mail or give us a call today!
